SWEAT RATE CALCULATOR
Work out how much fluid you lose per hour.
ESTIMATED SWEAT RATE
1300 ml/h
About 1300 ml lost over 60 minutes (1.30 L/h).
Weigh yourself in minimal clothing before and after, pat dry, and note everything you drink. One test reflects one day’s heat and effort. Avoid drinking more than you lose. This is not medical advice.

QUICK ANSWERS
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
How do I calculate my sweat rate?
Weigh yourself before and after exercise, add the fluid you drank, subtract any urine, and divide the total fluid lost by the hours trained. One kilogram of body weight is roughly one litre.
Is the sweat rate test accurate?
It is a reasonable estimate for one session in one set of conditions. Heat, humidity, effort and clothing change it, so repeat it in different conditions.
