Running the Long
Road
Some people chase shortcuts. I chase long roads — across Egypt on foot, and across the web hunting bugs. Both take time. Both are worth it.
The First Step
Every long road starts somewhere. Right now, I'm building the base — running daily, showing up even when it's hard. Day one energy, every day.
First Marathon
Crossing the finish line of my first marathon — the moment everything becomes real. Not the fastest. Not the easiest. Just proving I can commit to something big and see it through.
Racing for the Podium
Cairo Marathon. Egypt Marathon. Competing, not just finishing. Every race a lesson. Every placement a new starting point.
Bug Hunting
While the legs are training, the mind is too. Learning to find security vulnerabilities — the hidden cracks that others walk past. Patient, methodical, and just getting started.
The Long Roads
Cairo to Alexandria. Cairo to Aswan. Aswan to Alexandria. Not races. Not events. Just a human, a road, and a goal that most people would call crazy. That's the plan. 🌱
"The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start."— John Bingham — and me
What drives it
Show up anyway. That's the whole secret. Some days are hard. Run anyway. Some days are harder. Run anyway.
Everything is new. Everything is possible. I'm at the start of most things — and I wouldn't have it any other way. Day 1 is always available.
A slow run still beats no run. A bug found late is still a bug found. Keep moving. Keep showing up. The rest follows.
